Mr. Jeffrey A. McIntyre, also known as Jeff, has been the President of Pennsylvania-American Water Company, Inc. since March 1, 2017. Mr. McIntyre has been Senior Vice President of American Water's Mid-Atlantic Division of American Water Works Company Inc., since March 01, 2017. Mr. McIntyre serves as President of American Water Canada Corp. He served as the President at West Virginia-American Water Company at American Water Works Company, Inc. from May 2012 to March 01, 2017. Mr. McIntyre lead the West Virginia-American Water Company's dedicated employees to serve customers throughout West Virginia. He is principal external contact for American Water in West Virginia and continues to build and maintain the company's relationships with state and local officials, regulators and customers. Mr. McIntyre also works closely with the local operating staffs to continue to enhance performance. He served as Director of Operations for the Contract Services Group of American Water Enterprises. He served as Vice President of Operations for the Contract Services Group of American Water Enterprises, Inc., from 2010 to 2012. He has also contributed his expertise to assist in process and management audits, performing due diligence reviews for new business projects, O&M contract negotiations and renewals and process trouble shooting throughout North America. He was responsible for overseeing all water and wastewater operation and maintenance contracts for municipal, industrial and private facility owners. His responsibilities included client reporting and satisfaction, regulatory and safety compliance, financial and staffing administration, quality management systems, continual improvement programs and asset management. He joined American Water Company in 2002 and served as Director of Operations of American Water Canada Corp. He was responsible for more than 200 water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection facilities. Prior to joining American Water, he served as manager of Water Quality for the city of Hamilton. His additional experience includes positions with Philip Utilities Management Corporation, the Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth and the Royal Canadian Navy. He also led the city's efforts to de-list Hamilton Harbour as an area of concern at an anticipated cost of over $600 million. He holds several professional certifications in water and wastewater operations and engineering. He is a member of the Water Environment Association of Ontario, for which he previously served as a board member and committee chair. He serves as a section chair for the West Virginia American Water Works Association. He is also a member of the American Water Works Association, Ontario Water Works Association and Water Environment Federation. Mr. McIntyre is graduate of Brock University.
