Mr. Marc S. Russo serves as National President of Medicare at Anthem, Inc. Mr. Russo served as a Vice President of Senior Markets at California Physicians' Service, Inc. Mr. Russo served as the President of North Division at WellCare Health Plans, Inc. from November 1, 2010 to November 15, 2012. He served as Vice President of Blue Shield of California's Individual Small Group and Government Business Unit at California Physicians Service, Inc. since September 2009. He was responsible for strategy, business planning, growth and overall results for the ISGBU Senior lines of business. He also oversees Medicare compliance and development of new products for seniors. He has more than 15 years of health care industry experience. He served as Regional President at UnitedHealthcare and was responsible for strategy, membership growth and retention, product design, compliance and integrating new health plans for the western region. He was ultimately accountable for the performance and profitability of a 13-state region for Medicare Advantage. He served as Regional Vice President for Government Programs at Oxford Health Plans. He serves as a Director of ikaSystems Corporation. Mr. Russo holds Bachelor's Degree from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
