Mr. Scott Towers has been President of Dental Business at Anthem, Inc. since November 28, 2016. Mr. Towers served as Staff Vice President of Dental Underwriting, Product and Analytics at DeCare Dental, LLC since December 17, 2015. Mr. Towers oversees dental underwriting, product development and research/analytics. He has accountability for dental product development for all group sizes as well as development and communication of DeCare Dental Value Proposition. His role overseeing analytics includes provider utilization analysis, fraud and abuse detection, rating and quoting tool development, customer reporting and provider reimbursement administration and client reporting. Mr. Towers joined DeCare Dental in 1996 and has 19 years of experience in dental underwriting for individuals and for groups of 2 to 100,000+ employees with various fully insured and self-insured funding mechanisms. Mr. Towers received his BA from the University of Minnesota and his MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
