Mr. Tomas Orozco has been President of Medicare East Region at Anthem, Inc. since August 2017. Mr. Orozco served as Executive Vice President of South Florida Market at Simply Healthcare Plans, Inc. since 2011. He oversaw one of the fastest growing Medicare Advantage plans in Florida, with more than 50 percent growth in plan membership over the past 14 months. Mr. Orozco also brought more than 75 percent of Simply's members into value-based provider agreements, recognizing the importance of rewarding patient health outcomes when contracting with clinicians. Prior to Simply Healthcare, Mr. Orozco held executive positions at CarePlus Health Plans and worked at Physicians Healthcare Plans, Inc.
