This has been my first tech job, and I feel incredibly lucky that it has been at this company.

We are an actual team and work very well together. We are not just a bunch of people that just call ourselves a team.

Initially it took me a bit to adjust to the style and pace of the company, but coworkers and superiors helped along the way. There have been ups and downs, changes in personnel have caused delays at times. Overall, I am happy with the progress I've made and the growth I am now seeing in my team.
It has been a lot different than I was expecting. I rarely do what I was actually hired to do, but it's been a really pleasant experience compared to alternative jobs. I hope to stay at the company for my entire career, although I highly doubt that I won't be let go randomly.
