Mr. Michael Rea, LLB, FCA has been Chief Executive Officer of UK Retail at Arthur J Gallagher & Co. since November 2016. Mr. Rea served as Chief Operating Officer of International Business of Arthur J Gallagher & Co. from June 5, 2015 to November 2016. He served as Chief Executive of Retail of Towergate Finance Plc. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Towergate Partnership Limited from October 2014 to March 2015. Mr. Rea served as the Chief Executive Officer of Retail at Towergate Partnership Limited since October 2011. Mr. Rea served as Chief Executive Officer of Cullum Capital Ventures since September, 2009. He moved into general management with NIG in 2005 as Head of UK Operations and joined the Towergate Group in 2008 as Chief Operating Officer of the Underwriting Division. He served as Operations and Finance Director at National Insurance & Guarantee Corporation Ltd., since February 2007. Prior to this, he served as Finance Director of the Intermediary & Broker Business of RBS Insurance. Mr. Rea served as Finance Director of Prudential's General Insurance business since 2000. Since 2001, he served as Finance Director at Churchill Insurance Company. He joined Prudential Assurance Company in 1995 as a Finance Analyst, progressing to a role as Corporate Finance Manager in Prudential plc in 1998. He joined the insurance industry in 1995 following a career with Price Waterhouse in Dublin. Mr. Rea is an FCA and holds a degree in Law from Trinity College, Dublin.
