How does Ashoka make decisions around promotions?
It's a long, lengthy process and usually, there are no promotions as there are really no middle management positions. Ashoka only has very senior staff and low-level staff. It has had some people working at the same position for more than ten years.
How's the vacation policy at Ashoka?
They have no vacations. They only have something called 'earned leave', which basically means you have to work overtime, save up hours and then you are allowed to take that time off. The organization also doesn't have maternity or parental leave.
