  • You can report your card as lost or stolen through the app or website by going to your account settings, then Debit Card Management.Then, click the Report a Lost/Stolen Card panel to answer a few questions about your lost card, deactivate the lost card, and have a new one sent.

    You can also call (833) 635-6295 to report your card as lost/stolen using our automated system. Be prepared to answer a few security questions and follow the prompts. The automated system will list your mailing address on file, and if that address is correct, we will automatically send you a replacement debit card. If your mailing address is not correct, you will need to reach out to our Support Team for assistance in updating your mailing address and getting a replacement debit card.

  • At the moment, we cannot accept cash deposits at ATMs. We are actively working on expanding the services and features we offer for the Aspiration Spend & Save account, and we appreciate your patience while we partner with a network of shared-deposit ATMs which will allow our customers to deposit cash.

    To deposit cash, you can purchase a money order with your cash, then deposit the money order into your account using mobile check deposit. Money orders can be purchased at most convenience or grocery stores.

    While this is a good workaround for depositing cash, please keep in mind that, as always, anything you deposit through mobile check deposit is subject to review by our team. Were also not able to reimburse you for the cost of purchasing a money order.

  • With the Aspiration Spend & Save account you can use any ATM, world-wide, that accepts Mastercard, and well reimburse you for up to 5 ATM fees per month.

    This means that for your first 5 ATM withdrawals in a given month (domestic OR international), you will be fully reimbursed for any fees incurred about 2-3 business days after the date of your withdrawal.

    International ATM withdrawal fees get reimbursed at a flat rate $4 per transaction. If youre ever charged a higher fee reach out to us with your ATM receipt, and our team will reimburse you the full amount.

    We are not currently able to accept cash or physical check deposits at ATMs, but you can deposit checks with Aspiration's mobile app.

  • You earn cash back rewards automatically by using your Aspiration debit card for purchases. Cash back rewards are unlimited, and youll earn extra rewards for spending at businesses with a conscience.

    One way to get those extra rewards is by AIMing higher! AIM (the Aspiration Impact Measurement) is the feature on our mobile app that shows you your own sustainable impact score and the score of many of the places you shop everyday. You can see scores for People and Planet. When you make purchases at businesses with the highest AIM scores, you currently earn 0.5% cash back on those purchases. (You currently earn 0.1% cash back on all other purchases.)

    You can also earn up to 5% cash back on purchases by using your Aspiration debit card at businesses that are members of the Conscience Coalition. Click here to learn more about Conscience Coalition.

    ACH transfers/transactions, mobile check deposits, check payments via the Payments feature, and ATM withdrawals are not eligible for cash back.

    Keep in mind your debit card is linked to Aspiration Spend, and that both cash back percentages and businesses AIM scores are subject to change and may change at any time without notice.

  • Yes, and the first set of checks you order from us is always free. If you have Aspiration Spend & Save, your checks will be linked to Aspiration Spend.

    To order checks, please submit a request here. Well need to confirm your address on file, and after we confirm your address your checks should arrive within about 10 - 14 business days.

    You can message us the same way for any subsequent check orders, but please keep in mind that theres a shipping fee for checkbooks after your first one. The fee will vary depending on what shipping speed you choose.

    Please also note that we have the Aspiration Payments feature available (for free!) on our mobile app, which allows you to electronically schedule the delivery of a paper check to either a person or a business.

  • Planet Protection currently offsets the CO2 emissions from driving your vehicle. To determine the amount of CO2 to offset, we track your purchases at gas stations and then use the national average price for gas to estimate how many gallons you purchased. From there, we use Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) data to calculate the amount of CO2 emitted from each gallon of gas, and then purchase carbon offsets to counteract your emissions.

  • We offer mobile check deposit so you can easily deposit checks through the app. To make a deposit, open the mobile app, tap the Manage Money icon, then tap Check Deposits.

    Well give you a reminder in the app every time you deposit, but before depositing your check, youll need to make sure that:

    The back of the check is endorsed with your signature.

    "For mobile deposit only to Aspiration Financial" is written underneath your signature.

    Its also good to keep in mind that:

    Checks deposited via the app cannot exceed $50,000 over a period of ten business days.

    Onceyou'vebeen with us for 30 days, deposits are available within 1-2 business days. Checks submitted before 2pm PT will be processed that day.

    During your first 30 days as a customer, all check deposits are subject to a 5 business day hold.

    In some cases checks are held for longer than 2 business days, on a case-by-case basis, even after the 30 day mark.

    Partial or early release of funds is NOT available with mobile check deposit.

    Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. If you make a deposit after the cutoff time, or on a non-business day, the deposit will be processed the next business day.

    We cannot accept checks that have been signed over from another individual (despite the endorsement).

    For checks larger than $5,000:

    First, deposit the check using mobile check deposit in the app. Then, wait for an email from us with next steps.

    If we ask you to mail us the physical check, youll mail it to our partner bank: Coastal Community Bank, PO Box 2103, Everett, WA 98213.

    Please note: mailing in the check without first depositing it via mobile check deposit will result in the check being sent back to you. Check processing times will begin once the check is received at the address above.

  • When you open your account with Aspiration you will be prompted to link a checking or savings account from a US-based financial institution (including Credit Unions). This bank account will serve as the source to fund your investments as well as receive any withdrawals. As soon as we have confirmed that your bank account is linked electronically, you will be able to make your first investment in the Aspiration Flagship Fund, or the Aspiration Redwood Fund.

    There are two ways to link your bank account electronically and verify that you are the owner of the account:

    Instant Verification: Bank accounts held at any of the financial institutions listed below qualify for instant verification. To use this method you will simply enter the same login credentials (username, password, and security questions) that you would use to login to your account on your banks website. Once your information is verified, you will get instant confirmation and you will be ready to start investing.

    Please note that your login credentials are passed directly to your financial institution for verification. Aspiration does not have access to your login credentials and all data is encrypted and securely stored using bank-grade security measures.     Micro-Deposit: If your bank account is not held at one of the institutions listed above, or you choose not to enter your bank information, you can always choose "Other Bank" and verify your account using micro-deposits. You will be prompted to enter the account and routing number of the bank account you would like to link electronically. Two small deposits will then appear in your account please note that, depending on your bank, this process may take up to two days. Once the two deposits appear on your bank statement, please log back in to your Aspiration account where you will be prompted to enter the exact amount of the two deposits. Once the two deposits have been confirmed, you will receive confirmation that your bank account has been successfully linked.

  • To use your debit card while traveling outside of the United States, you must enable international debit card usage in your Settings. To do this, log in to your account on our website, click "Settings" on the lefthand side of the page, then click "International Travel." When international travel is enabled, you will be able to make transactions on your card in any country except the ones listed below. We block all transactions in these countries to keep your account safe and secure.

  • Payments is Aspiration's tool for sending money to pay your bills or to pay a friend. The person or business you designate for payment will be mailed a paper check with your name and address printed on it. This service is free, and there's no limit to the number of payments you can send!

    The Payments feature is available only on the Aspiration mobile app. After scheduling a new Payment on the mobile app, you can expect it to arrive to your designated payee within 5-7 business days from the scheduled send date. Payments can be canceled on the mobile app up until the day before the scheduled send date.

    To stop a Payment after a check has already been mailed, please give us a call at 800-683-8529. We can issue a stop payment up to 14 days after the check is mailed - as long as it has not yet been deposited. As part of our commitment to having our members Pay What Is Fair, there is no fee for stop payments on checks mailed via Payments.

    Undeliverable checks will be returned to your permanent address on file (not your mailing address).

    Money from a Payment will always be debited from Aspiration Spend, and not Aspiration Save. Note that after scheduling a Payment, money will only be debited from Aspiration Spend once the payee receives and deposits the check - and not at the time you schedule the Payment.Please do keep this in mind so that youdon'taccidentally spend those funds! There is no overdraft protection available for checks written, and it is up to you to ensure you have enough funds in your account to cover the Payment at the time it is deposited.

    1.) Click on the account (Spend, Save, etc.) you want to export the transactions for.

    2.) Click Export Transactions in the upper right.

    3.) Set your date range.

    4.) Click Export to export your transactions to a .csv file.

    5.) A confirmation message will pop-up, confirming the export was successful.

    a.) If you select a timeframe with no transactions, you'll see an error message letting you know no transactions were found.

    Mobile

    1.) Tap on the account (Spend, Save, etc.) you want to export the transactions for.

    2.) Tap the three dots in the upper right of the home screen, and tap Export Transactions.

    3.) Set your date range.

    4.) Click Export to export your transactions to a .csv file.

    5.) Choose where you'd like the .csv file to be saved on your phone (Google Drive, iCloud, etc.)

    6.) Once the file is saved, A confirmation message will pop-up, confirming the export was successful.

    Afteryou'vebeen with us for 90 days, your incoming ACH transfer limits may vary depending on your account. If you attempt to schedule a transfer over your limit, well let you know in the app.You may transfer between Aspiration Spend and Aspiration Save up to 50 times per day. These transfers can be scheduled any time and are only subject to the amount available within the account.

    Electronic transfers:

    Electronic, or ACH, transfers initiated by 2pm PT on a business day will generally process 3 business days from that date. If scheduled after that cutoff time, or a non-business day, the transfer will generally process in 4 business days.Wire transfers:

    Outgoing wire transfers must be scheduled on a business day before the applicable cutoff time to be debited same day. International wire transfers must be scheduled by 11am PT, and domestic wire transfers must be scheduled by 1pm PT.

    Incoming wire transfers received by 12pm PT should be credited same day, but are subject to the sending banks processing times.

    Please note:Outgoing wires transfers can't be completed within the first 90 days of account opening.Mobile check deposits:

    "For mobile deposit only to Aspiration Financial" must be written on the back of your check, under your endorsement, to be accepted. Checks deposited via the mobile app become available 1-2 business days* after being deposited.

    If deposited before 2pm PT on a business day, the funds will become available 1 business day after the day of deposit.   • All of the projects that Aspiration supports with Planet Protection are verified to prevent greenhouse gases from reaching the atmosphere. Each project focuses on improving or developing carbon emissions reduction technology, and every project is verified to ensure it meets the test of additionality. The concept of additionality means that the amount of carbon emissions entering the atmosphere is less than it would have been without the project, and the project would not have been carried out without the funding through carbon offsets.

    All of the projects that Aspiration supports through Planet Protection go through a rigorous verification process and are subject to ongoing monitoring and verification by organizations such as the Verified Carbon Standard,Gold Standard, American Carbon Registry, and Climate Action Reserve as well as by an independent auditor and site visits from our partners.

  • Aspiration is happy to provide you with cellular wireless telephone protection coverage, at no additional cost ($600 per claim/$1,000 maximum per 12 month period). In order to be eligible for this coverage, you must pay your monthly cellular telephone bill with your Aspiration debit card. You are eligible for coverage the first day of the calendar month following the payment of your cellular telephone bill with your covered card. This coverage is reimbursement for damage or theft of your "Eligible Cellular Telephone."

    For the full terms and conditions, please read the attached Cardholder Benefits document.

    *Coverage begins the first day of the calendar month following the payment of your monthly cellular telephone bill.

    *Coverage ends the first day of the calendar month following nonpayment of your monthly cellular telephone bill.

    *Coverage is excess of any other applicable insurance or indemnity the Eligible Person may have.

    Coverage limitations: Coverage is limited to damage or theft up to $600 per claim subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits of liability of this benefit as well as the fifty dollar ($50) deductible. The maximum liability is $600 per claim occurrence, and $1,000 per twelve (12) month period.

    What is NOT covered: The following items are excluded from coverage under this Policy:

    Cellular Wireless Telephone accessories other than the standard battery and/or standard antenna provided by the manufacturer.

    Cellular Wireless Telephones purchased for resale or for professional or commercial use.

    Eligible Cellular Wireless Telephones that are lost or Mysteriously Disappear.

    Cellular Wireless Telephones under the care and control of a common carrier, including, but not limited to, the U.S. Postal Service, airplanes or delivery service.

    Cellular Wireless Telephones stolen from baggage unless hand-carried and under the Eligible Persons supervision or under the supervision of the Eligible Persons traveling companion who is previously known to the Eligible Person.

    If you have decided to close your mutual fund account(s), you will simply need to sell any shares you own. The proceeds will be deposited into the bank account you used to purchase the shares originally. If you used multiple accounts, or have any trouble in completing the sale of your shares, please email us at [email protected], and someone will assist you.

    Once you've sold your shares in full, an email should be sent to [email protected], as written authorization confirming the account closure. This is for your protection, as well as our peace of mind.

    If you change your mind, and choose to come back at a later date, you will be able to purchase shares once again and reactivate your investment account (unlike Summit Account closures, which are permanent).

  • Yes, direct deposit is our favorite feature (hello payday!)

    You can download a direct deposit form, complete with a voided check, through the app or website. Navigate to the Manage menu, click Direct Deposit, enter your details, and click Create Deposit Form to see a preview of the form. Click Download Deposit Form to download the form to your phone or computer.

    If you just need to locate your account and routing numbers, login to your account, go to your Settings, and click Account Info.

    If the issuer of your direct deposit asks, your account would fall under checking.

    You may also need an address. The one you can use for direct deposit is:

    We suggest you wait until you've activated your debit card before setting up direct deposit, to ensure you have easy access to your funds.

    Go to your Settings.

    Click Debit Card Management.

    Click the Activate a New Card panel.

    Enter in the last 4 digits of your card number, your expiration date, and your CVV.

    Set a PIN, and thats it!

    You can also activate a new card by calling (833) 635-6295. This will connect you with an automated system that will ask you for your card info before activating.
