Avenue Code has been an awesome place to work for the last 5 years. Of course we have had our share of growing pains, but it's such a special and unique place. I never felt a sense of possibility even close to this anywhere else. The leadership really cares about people and is open to hear ideas.

They are infinitely adaptable and genuinely passionate about our work.

We are really good at acknowledging one another and celebrating successes.

Achieving our goals together and contributing to equity and inclusion in tech.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone genuinely cares. People that don't bring passion to their work don't last long here.
What makes you most happy at work?
Playing around with situations and circumstances to create win win situations for AC and our clients.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I felt really clear about what the process was and was treated respectfully and like my time was valuable.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They listen, and they will give literally anyone with a good idea a chance and the resources needed to give it a shot. There's no ego or hierarchical mindset.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The commission plan is great. Wish it didn't change so often, but I understand the adjustments are to try to make it equitable for everyone and reasonable for the company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel "undervalued" but I also know my salary is under the market rate for my role. I'm happy with other aspects of the company and the compensation by itself isn't enough to make me leave.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love that we as a company are constantly reinventing ourselves to keep up with the quick pace of change in the tech world. I learned a lot of life lessons about adapting to obstacles by working here. For example, the biggest growth years for us have been during times of economic downturn!
