The leadership team is full of informed and influential voices, and I really value everyone's open door policy.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The best part would be our hefty 401k match, when I tell people how high it is, they are supprised!
Above market salaries and strong variable compensation plans. Also are provided discretionary bonuses and bonuses for certifications.
Uncapped opportunities to earn. Nice discretionary bonuses. Payouts on certifications.
I love that we have unlimited PTO and are actually encouraged to take it.
well we have medical insurance. That is something very important. Also the flexible schedule helps a lot and the remote work.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Vesting schedule for 401k is too long, variable bonus system has unrealistic goals to achieve.
401k matching is a bit under the norm.
For 2022, 401K match has been increased to 40%.
I believe the benefits for 401k match can be better and a gym/health reimbursement policy would be nice. I would also like to see a comprehensive maternity and paternity policy in place.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Smart and dedicated team members.
Everyone I've worked with and met so far has been skilled, driven, and approachable. Project work is very collaborative because of this, where everyone communicates constantly throughout development.

No matter their role or past experience, everyone wants to help you succeed. Of course in sales, it is an interesting dynamic because at times, I am competing against my team. Yet, we all welcome it and treat it as a friendly competition and motivation.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There are tons of out of office organizations, events, etc. It is not just about being familiar in the office setting only. Avionos prioritizes its positive culture and that was clear and appreciated from the beginning.

We have developed a mindset of mutual trust, mutual investment, mutual benefit. We are in this together. Very high level of transparency and accountability.
Collaboration and Transparency. We have CORE philosophy - Curious. Open. Responsive. Enthusiastic.
There is no "office politics" hoops to jump through. Everyone supports each other and is genuinely happy for one another's successes. Plus, the year-round half day Fridays are a nice perk too.
The people here is like if everyone knows each other, is fresh and always open to hear you.

What did you like most about the interview process?
The speed to a decision.
The interviewing process was to the point and fun, I didn't find anything done during the process to be unnecessary or irrelevant.

I liked it because even though I consider myself a strong interviewee, this was not an easy process. Mine consisted of five stages. What I enjoyed most is they aren't simply looking for ability, but also a positive, workable mindset that fits in line with Avionos' positive company culture.

Open dialogue. More of information sharing than interigation. All interviewers are well prepared and knowledgeable.
They use real world questions and it's more discussion based where I can really show off my skills. Very laid back and informative.

The employees are great to work with.
Knowing that I am not tied down to one mundane objective. There is no one correct way of doing things, which means you figure out what works as time proceeds no matter the piece of the business.
