  • Amazing. Unlimited PTO, happy hours and other excursions that encourage team bonding, plenty of company-wide days off for holidays. Aya understands that you have a life outside of work.

  • Great! Everyone works hard, and that is expected, but we have unlimited PTO and the company provides quite a few perks. We have free onsite work out classes (yoga and boot camp,) schedules are pretty flexible, although it depends a bit on your position with the company how flexible, and some people work remotely as well.

Everyone who interviews completes a Personality Index, but the actual questions asked by hiring managers differ from job to job, department to department. Because different roles require different skills and characteristics, they require different questions to determine which candidates best fill those positions.

  • Every department at Aya Healthcare is growing. With rapid growth comes challenges. The biggest challenge right now is keeping our expanding workforce informed about everything that is going on, and fostering communication between departments, especially for people who no longer work together every day. To meet this challenge, the marketing department is growing too. We have a corporate communications manager who will make sure that as we grow, we never lose touch with each other because the close bond between employees and a strong camaraderie is a large part of what makes Aya great!

  • I've had a long and varied career path spanning multiple companies and several industries, and the culture at Aya Healthcare already far exceeds anything I have encountered previously. A few of the suggestions that have been made in the past are already being enacted. For example, because we hire ambitious people who want to advance their careers, everyone wants to know "how do I move up in this organization?" Aya has developed leadership training to support career growth. My advice would be to ramp that up even more!

  • Alan is a great leader. Not only does he care about the welfare and career prospects of his employees, but he understands that the best ideas can come from all levels of an organization, that often the employees who have the most day-to-day customer interaction, rather than executives who are more removed from that interaction, can provide solutions for process improvement. That employee-driven leadership philosophy has created an atmosphere of approachability. Everyone feels comfortable putting forward ideas and working together.

  • Generally - you apply online (jobs are posted on ayahealthcare.com) and if you receive an invitation to interview there is a phone interview, a PI test, and if you move forward from there you will have in person interviews with your manager and people in your department. Some positions require multiple interviews while others do not. Everyone is pleasant and the interview process is relatively painless!
