Tina Cessna — Senior Vice President, Engineering at Backblaze
Executive Bio
Tina Cessna has served as our senior vice president, Engineering since 2018. In her role, she has guided our engineering efforts to open Backblaze’s services to ever broadening audiences, including the launch of the Backblaze S3 Compatible API. Prior to joining Backblaze, Tina led engineering and QA at Salesforce, Cisco, Linksys, and Oracle. She brings 25 years of software development experience to the role, building complex enterprise and consumer applications, as well as a blend of technology experience in PaaS, SaaS, embedded systems, and network routing. Tina earned a B.S.E.E in electronic and computer engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
