Fine. Many people work long hours, but many don't. 45 hours is probably quite normal although a lot of people are 55+

Very opaque. Done at very senior level. The team will just find out about such decisions, often even the person being promoted doesn't know until the decision is made.

Generally left to my own devices and able to self manage.

Moderately secure. More secure than many colleagues, but whole teams are only a few bad decisions or bad quarters away from being cut. It is a fast moving business and industry. Given that, still feel fairly secure.

I'm somewhat challenged in ways I don't desire - organization, communication, project execution - and generally unchallenged in areas I enjoy.

Meh. The work is okay, but unchallenging. The office and mood is nice. My colleagues are carried, from good to mediocre - no-one amazing. It's not too stressful.

Probably varies but I have not had great experience in this regard. Little real feedback from manager. Everything is great - until it's not. The formal process involves only one annual check in. The informal processes frequently don't happen due to daily stuff.
