What do you like best about the leadership team?
Good drive forward and focus
I like that they hold monthly firm wide meetings to keep everyone up to date. I love the culture here, which I know is important to the partners.
There is always open communication between the Executive Leadership and the rest of the firm. Very personal and easy to work with. Understand that the culture of the firm is important to keeping employees happy.
I really trust and respect our leadership team. They make very well-informed decisions, are transparent about changes and performance, and value the importance of employee feedback at all levels.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Don't create hierarchies of middle managers who lack relevant experience in a given asset class -particularly if that asset class is one the firm is new to. Follow through on your commitments to the teams you bring on.
Beware of yes men and sycophants.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Base and bonus is high
Base above market and nice bonus
Health insurance and lunch allowance
Blue Cross Blue Shield is good insurance that covers prescriptions for my family.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Benefits are not good at Nielsen. Insurance is expensive with poor coverage.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Techniclaly strong clever driven self starter
Everyone is willing to pitch in and help each other and we all get along. We are able to bounce ideas and questions off of one another.
Great collaboration, everyone is open and honest regarding their workloads. People are always willing to help each other in projects or even personal matters.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Increase depth in strategies outside of public equity l/s
Better skill fit, better planning, better project coordination.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Super cool nice great top
Even though we work hard and it is a fast pace environment everyone is very friendly and helpful.
The people are very willing to jump in and provide support. The employees here work hard, and provide a very friendly environment that I enjoy surrounding myself with every day.
