One reviewer wrote "beware of yes men and sycophants" and I think that's a nice way of stating what I believe - this is one of the lowest integrity groups I've met on wall street. Pros: Autonomy and bonuses if part of the "in" crowd. Cons: Highly political, toxic hierarchy. Insecure leadership.

Increase depth in strategies outside of public equity l/s
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Don't create hierarchies of middle managers who lack relevant experience in a given asset class -particularly if that asset class is one the firm is new to. Follow through on your commitments to the teams you bring on.
