I like my job for the most part & I like my manager & coworkers but BotW is in a miserable state & i do not see a future
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay is low. 2% raise (or less) once a year. Expensive benefits but not much coverage when needed. No stock options. Bank match 401k is nice
What did you like most about the interview process?
They asked some 'out of the box' questions. Not just the expected 'where do you see yourself in 5 years' (although they did ask that too).
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The bank is being micromanaged by the BNPP 'overlords'. Being micromanaged is never conducive to a productive working environment. I have a feeling in the next 3-5 years BNPP will sell Bank of the West to one of our competitors and many of us will lose our jobs.
