He lead all of Barnes Group's diverse industrial businesses across the globe. He has 20 plus years of experience in growing engineered products businesses, as well as his strong knowledge of global markets and significant expertise in sales, marketing and new product development. He served as the President of Barnes Industrial Plastic Piping, Inc. since March 17, 2014. Before joining Barnes Group, Mr. Mayo served as a Vice President and General Manager of Power Sector for Flow Control Division at Flowserve Corporation in Irving, Texas. He joined Flowserve in 2002 and held various positions of increasing responsibility during his tenure there, including: Vice President and General Manager of General Industries Sector for Flow Control Division, Vice President of Marketing for Flow Control Division, General Manager of Flow Control Division for China, Director of Marketing for Flow Control Division at Raleigh NC, Director and General Manager of Aftermarket at Raleigh NC and Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development. Before joining Flowserve, he held the role of Vice President of Marketing and Engineered Sales, Flow Control Division, Americas for Invensys PLC. Mr. Mayo holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Memphis and a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN.
