What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Needs a full overhaul. Politics and self-serving leaders.
empowering employees and creating a safe culture
Leadership does not enact change. If recommendations are made on how to improve the culture they ignore it. they operate on a culture of fear and prefer for employees "to stay in line, and play the part" vs. having an open dialogue and engaging their employees. It's essentially a frat club.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
They offer profit sharing instead of a match

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Most of the people on the ground doing the work are great! Some people are not as competent at their jobs and can slow down teams but for the most part people are easy to get a long with.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Entrepreneurial culture but can be sifeled by poor leadership.
Everyone shows up with the intention to do good work.
Support, paying attention to everyone, constant events, meet-ups and random discussions. Everyone understands that we are all humans that make mistake. No one expects you to come in to work in a suit.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
True Diversity and inclusivity. A culture that champions quality work. A culture that is more flexible vs. rigid. Transparency of pay (it exists in BCG but not DV) More women in leadership (of all the partners in DV North America, I think there's only 1-2 women) Be bold & take calculated risk

I liked that we had a take home practical because I was able to show off my skills and excitement

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Essentially Dv sells a formulaic approach that does not account for the difficulty of the topic nor the current state of affairs for the client and the market/industry they represent. DV should invest more time in to properly planning and scoping projects and not throwing teams to their doom
