There are multiple additional benefits that are offered through BDO that I have never seen in other companies. Examples: Cancer Screening, Pet Insurance, Identity Theft Protection, etc.

The average pay increase/year in the U.S. is 3-5%. My pay has increased by 2% over three years, yet my performance has been consistently rated as excellent. That's why I feel undervalued. I would feel better about my compensation if my hard work was rewarded with a proportionate increase in pay.

Compensation at mid level accounting firm is just simply lower than larger big four, or large independent advisory firms. In addition, the amount of work and effort vs my peers is not proportionate to the pay vs peers. Each position has too small of a compensation range. No incentive to work harder
