What do you like best about the leadership team?
Benching has a a very diverse leadership team that are driving a powerful vision. Making a difference - all of them!
Saji periodically gets into the day to day to ensure we are focusing on what matters most and works to smooth challenges. Our leadership team engages with customers in a meaningful way.
The leadership is sharp, direct, open to critique, and willing to admit mistakes and pivot when needed, or double down and dig in to comparative advantages.
The CEO and also the lead of PS are still very approachable.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Good total compensation package. On par with the market!
Health and Paternity leave. Honestly, the benefits here are amazing

What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is mission driven, focused, incredibly talented and smart people. I'm learning every day. Not to mention kind, collaborative and fun.
My team is fun, creative, quirky and supportive.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Trust and empowerment. Good hybrid of coming in to be together and flexible to allow less commuting for all

What did you like most about the interview process?
Enables the candidate to get a strong sense of the day to day and what it will be like working at Benchling, just as much as for Benchling to evaluate the candidates fit and skills they will bring to Benchling.
My position required a mock customer role play plus a technical presentation of a previous project that addressed a particular technical or operational problem. I was given the opportunity to both formally present to a team, and to provide informal follow up reflection and discussion the next day.
Met a lot of team - thorough.

Our mission, the people and customers I work with and that I am constantly learning/growing.
I look forward every day to seeing my teammates, exchanging learnings with them, and working toward a common goal.
