Mr. Gerard P. Cuddy, also known as Gerry, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Beneficial Bank (alternate name Beneficial Savings Bank) since January 2007. Mr. Cuddy has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Beneficial Bancorp, Inc. (Formerly, Beneficial Mutual BanCorp. Inc.) since 2006. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of The Philadelphia Orchestra Association. He served as Senior Loan Officer For Commercial Lending at Commerce Main Off since May 2005. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Beneficial Savings Bank MHC and Beneficial Mutual Savings Bank since January 2007. Mr. Cuddy served as President Elect of Beneficial Savings Bank since November 2006. Prior to Beneficial Savings bank, he served as Senior Loan Officer For Commercial Lending in Pennsylvania at Commerce Bank, National Association from May 2005 to November 2006. Prior to Commerce, Mr. Cuddy served as Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director for Fleet's private banking operations in Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware from 2002 to 2005. He served senior management positions with First Union National Bank and Citigroup in the metro Philadelphia region. He served as Senior Vice President of Fleet/Bank of America. He has a broad range of complex transaction experience in investment, private and commercial banking. Mr. Cuddy served as Chairman of Beneficial Savings Bank MHC. He served as the Chairman and Director of The Philadelphia Orchestra Association. He served as the Chairman of Beneficial Bancorp, Inc. until October 2012. He has been a Trustee of Beneficial Bank since 2006. He has been a Director of Beneficial Bancorp, Inc. since 2014. He served as Director at Beneficial Savings Bank MHC since December 2006 and Beneficial Bancorp, Inc from December 2006 to October 2012. He served on the Boards of Philadelphia Hospitality, Inc., as well as the Board of Education for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
