Sean joined the Benefitfocus team in November of 2020 as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and brought with him an impressive portfolio of award-winning technical transformations. His passion is technology and he loves being able to apply technology to help people when they need it most. Sean is a consummate player-coach, ready to roll up his sleeves when he needs to, while leading his team to success.

Sean brings more than 20 years of experience in delivering world-class results on high-impact strategic technology initiatives. His main areas of focus will be infrastructure, enterprise systems and service desk. His level-headed and even-keeled approach to solving problems makes him an invaluable part of our team.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Clarkson University and a Master of Business Administration from Bentley College. Sean has led award-winning technical transformations at PwC, Xfinity, Dell and Qlik. From M&A, product development and back-office reengineering, Sean creates high performing teams that can iterate through the “hard yards.” He is the IT security incident rescue and response quarterback. He also helped create Bon Jovi’s first web page, which, frankly, takes the cake.
