Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation at BlackLine?

This place operates upside down. The people stab others behind their backs, not a place to work.
Pay on ability and experience, Not out dated benchmarking figures. Contract employment is not enjoyable.
Base pay is pretty low. Too much of our pay is commission yet it is very difficult to hit our goals and get paid what we deserve.

I believe in the leadership team at BlackLine, and their ability to guide our business for success.
For an organization going through a rapid growth plan, they're doing a great job. Nothing will ever go as smoothly as planned when scaling.
What benefits does BlackLine provide?
Stock incentives, 401 K, casual environment, nice bonuses for exceeding quotas
Fully paid health, debts and vision. 401k but there is a vesting period. Breakfast provided at headquarters every Thursday.

Growing pains are understandable and to be expected, but the Leadership needs to lead.
People never finish projects on time bc the management doesn't manage well.

This is by far the best group of co-workers I've ever worked with. When I started, I felt like I gained 15 new friends instantly.
My team is awesome... everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves and do anything needed to ensure we meet our goals.

Typically the process moves pretty quickly once you start interviewing

No structured PTO. You take time when you want it.
Does BlackLine drug test or do a background check?
Background check but no drug test...at least I did not have a drug test.
What's the interview process like at BlackLine?
For a sales position it is usually about 6-7 interviews.

Depends on which side of the Lunch table you are sitting on. The side with the cool kids and the CEO's Son? Or the side with everyone else that doesnt believe in playing the games.

Great vacation policy in the US; unlimited PTO for salaried employees, accrual policy for hourly employees.

Order more food for everyone, snacks last two days. If you make snacks a benefit keep them.
