What does the leadership team need to get better at?
In regards to the claims team in Jacksonville, Florida, there needs to be a re-vamping of management training. The team is focused on making friends and keeping their friends happy but not making those same people accountable for dropping the ball (which is most of the time).
Communication and removing nepotism Iin their decision making

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Every other company pays more (10k annually) than BoatUS. It doesn't make sense. And the benefits are lousy.
Across the board others in our field our paid higher with bonuses and our 401K program is awful
If 401K matching was brought back worst decision ever made was to take it away

Stop all the playing and get to work for the customer.
We are more like family for the most part and everyone helps out fairly

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Make it inclusive to all not just some.
Open, safe communication and reduce the micromanaging it's making the best employees leave and go elsewhere
What did you like most about the interview process?
They were friendly and upfront about what to expect regarding the work load.
