We were friends, co-employees but it also felt like a close family.

the manager only expected you to do the same thing he would do. At most times he would help to get it done.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
they worked with you. At least my manager did. He would give everyone a piece of a job to do and it was easier than being responsible for the total job.
