The core is great, with amazing people. Often in my department there is a large gap between leadership's decisions/view of achievements vs reality. E.g automation is implemented, and is seen as an achievement, but in reality the systems are not making life any better and the team gets frustrated.

Everyone's openness, willingness to help one another with challenges, everyone's flexibility. They are truly great people.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better base pay. I've been with the company for over 8 years and if I were to change employer, I would be paid so much more. But I like Booking, and I know my built up knowledge and experience is worth a lot, especially when people come and go within the department.
