Mr. Maulik Nanavaty has been a Senior Vice President of Boston Scientific Corporation since September 2011. Mr. Nanavaty has also been President of Neuromodulation division at Boston Scientific Corporation since September 2011. He is responsible for the innovation leader in less-invasive microelectronic implantable technologies used to treat chronic neuropathic pain at Boston Scientific. He served as the President of Boston Scientific Japan at the Boston Scientific Corporation from December 2007 to September 2011. Mr. Nanavaty joined Boston Scientific in 2005 as Vice President for Corporate Strategy for Japan, where he led a successful business transformation and contributed to a high level of operational efficiency. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Japan's Interventional Cardiology business at Boston Scientific. Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Nanavaty spent 16 years working in various executive positions at Baxter International, Inc., and Baxter Japan. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the California Health Institute (CHI). He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Rani Therapeutics, LLC and has been its Director since December 2016. He served as Representative Director of Boston Scientific Japan. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
