Boys & Girls Clubs Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

Interaction with the members was always wonderful.

The work we do is incredibly rewarding. Especially seeing the kids who previously struggled to grow and learn to be better people.

Review from Operations Dept

Making a difference for the kids

Review from Operations Dept

I am the most happy with the environment and working with the children.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The pay needs to be even out. Right now the people doing the bulk of the work are paid less than 10 an hour. Mandatory coperate shananigans should be scheduled around the work and employees, not around a CEOs vacation People on the corporate end need to be held accountable

The ceo should resign and new executives should be hired.

Review from Operations Dept

My co workers need a strict talking to with consequences. Sitting on your phone or computer all day is not okay. Getting in everyones face is not okay! id also like to add that the negativity from said co workers needs to change as well.

Review from Communications Dept

Suggestions being ignored by district manager

Poor leadership. Do as I say, not as I do. Stop talking about culture and fix it!

No support, bad pay, disrespectful children.

Review from Operations Dept

Management and corporate continues to fail the employees and the children. The communication is poor, the support is lacking, the training is weak, and the requirements too high for the low pay return. If clubs were staffed correctly things would be significantly improved.

Review from Operations Dept

The workload is constantly changing. Be consistent.

The environment is stressful and nothing is planned or well thought out.
