They care about the staff.
Review from Operations Dept
The CFO of the organization keeps things in order well and is happy to lend an ear when things seem a little out of control
love my manager everyone above him makes the job hard
the open lines of communication that offer excellent opportunities to explore and expand
They work together well and are very passionate about the members and their well being. They treat the staff with respect and understanding
They treat others as if they are not people.
Communication needs to be a larger focus
Review from Admin Dept
Listening to their team. showing respect.
Review from Operations Dept
Be transparent. Message to the field, and message behind closed doors is never the same.
Review from Operations Dept
The mission is amazing, the leadership team is horrible at managing people and money
Review from Admin Dept
Compensation met my financial needs.
Insurance and time off or leave
Review from Operations Dept
The dental insurance benefits of the package.
Medical, dental, vision, 401k matching
Just being eligible to recieve it
Theres very little public, or even private, reccognition for the programs we run, and the CEO will probably take credit for whatever work the public actually sees. They also do not care about burnout. I tried to ask how we could decrease it, and was basically told 'good thing theyve got you for now
I do several jobs wear several hats and only a club level
All of the problems were blamed on staff. The real problem was lack of leadership. If you brought a problem to them they would disregard it and tell you to figure it out.
Review from Operations Dept
There are zero benefits in this job
Review from Admin Dept
We make minimum wage which is okay but after a hard day with 30 + kids you start to think its not very fair. Also I don't have an benefits at all. I think maybe a raise or maybe a little benefit would be nice.
Review from Communications Dept
Respect and kindness were displayed daily.
The team has a strong bond.
Review from Operations Dept
The team was tight, they loved on kiddos and made things happen for them even though we were short staffed always. WE all came to gather as a TEAM and made it happen
The dedication and hardwork they put in daily.
leadership is amazing, the staff is great and the opportunities are endless
Quit and find a better job
Review from Operations Dept
My co workers are a BIG problem. Even the children seem to dislike the co worker. I have talked to the person about us but nothing has gotten down about, just excuses have been made for the behavior.
Review from Communications Dept
They need structure and the want to be there.
Review from Communications Dept
Need to push back when intiatives are rolled out that only meet the needs of senior leadership, not the needs of our Clubs.
Review from Operations Dept
Yes pre-day meetings would help
The kids can be so fun and weird and just cool to be around
The members look forward to coming every single day
Leaving at the end of the day
Review from Operations Dept
Integrity is what is most important.
The staff is the best part about the job
Review from Admin Dept
It needs consistency in communication.
Changes at the top. Also, embrace the past as opposed to trying to destroy it.
Review from Operations Dept
Rules for the children being upheld at ALL times, and applying to everyone, instead of excuses being made for bad behavior, and rewards being given with no reason for it.
Review from Operations Dept
Promote work life balance for full time staff. Realize there is a life outside of the club
Change some of the leadership. Fundraising team has been successful in growing revenue but is toxic to the culture.
It was very interactive and I enjoyed the time to ask questions and visit the facility.
Review from Operations Dept
It was practically nonexistent. Not really great to know as a parent
Straight to the point. Very upfront and honest
Meeting new professionals with the same goals.
I was not interviewed for this position, but rather they sought me out due to my involvement in the community.
Review from Admin Dept
Honesty upfront about the working conditions and lack of funding. It's very little pay for the physical and emotional commitment that the job requires.
They are incompetent, they need new everything
Review from Operations Dept
Let lower level employees participate in the process not just managers
Interaction with the members was always wonderful.
The work we do is incredibly rewarding. Especially seeing the kids who previously struggled to grow and learn to be better people.
Review from Operations Dept
Making so many kids happy
The club members makes me most happy
seeing the face of the club kids when they accomplish something they thought they couldnt do
The pay needs to be even out. Right now the people doing the bulk of the work are paid less than 10 an hour. Mandatory coperate shananigans should be scheduled around the work and employees, not around a CEOs vacation People on the corporate end need to be held accountable
The ceo should resign and new executives should be hired.
Review from Operations Dept
My co workers need a strict talking to with consequences. Sitting on your phone or computer all day is not okay. Getting in everyones face is not okay! id also like to add that the negativity from said co workers needs to change as well.
Review from Communications Dept
Suggestions being ignored by district manager
Poor leadership. Do as I say, not as I do. Stop talking about culture and fix it!
