What are you most excited about working at Burris Logistics?
Top Employee Response
It's close to my home (less then 30mins) and the pay here is very competitive for the area for IT work
The pay scale here is really fair for the job market area in the Philadelphia Area Region. Everyone loves to get fairly paid right?
What is the company mobility like at Burris Logistics?
I work from home once a week, no problem. So I guess it's good or at least industry standard.
What kind of relocation or moving stipends does Burris Logistics offer?
I am not sure. I do know that they offer some people here those benefits since some staff lives at least 2 hours outside of the location they work at.
How are the dental insurance options at Burris Logistics?
It's average. MetLife is the provider. Limited options for people in Sussex County in Delaware. Either Dover or more up north or Salisbury area in Maryland.
What are the most important soft skills I need to be successful at Burris Logistics?
Depends on job role really. Overall a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt is really crucial for IT staff here.
Does Burris Logistics drug test or do a background check?
Yes. Burris does pre-employment drug screenings and background checks.
What benefits does Burris Logistics provide?
Health benefits are very competitive. 401k. The only thing that this place lacks in is Paid-Time off. You only get 3 weeks after 3 years and you finally get 1 month paid time off after 8 years.
What's the company culture like at Burris Logistics?
It's really good for me! They try their best to find what you're good at and apply your skills in that area. I work in the corporate office and do work on the computer (IT) so it may be different for those in the warehouse and in the clerking positions. It is typically fast paced and they really do care about your family. They pray here and are very conservative as well.
