What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to learn that assessment is a two-way process. Everything at CHA is top-down and the management isn't nearly as clever as they think they are.
Value your staff more. Perhaps spend less time taking 'fluff' meetings, where they talk about their vacation homes and pets, and help your team succeed.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Hourly wage and good bonus.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
In the 6 years I've worked for CHA, none has been the least bit interested in my growth or skills development.
My pay was far too low, compared to that of my colleagues, and the benefits were terrible.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Top-down meetings all the time.
The team appeared to be creative and passionate. Although, there were one or two individuals who were a bit too competitive or overall sensitive.

Most individuals are truly passionate about certain causes. Others pretended to be for recognition.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Respect for everybody, no excuses!
Make use of the crisis prevention/intervention trainings provided by the organization. The psych units are unsafe for patients and staff.

Be realistic about your expectations.
Be transparent about the pay rate for the job. Do not have an age or color pay scale.
