Mr. Stephen Covey, also known as Steve, has been Chief of Police and Chief Security Officer at Canadian National Railway Company since November 2013. Mr. Covey has responsibility for CN's Canadian and U.S. Police and Risk Mitigation teams, as well as oversight for border and other security matters. He is based in Montreal. Prior to his appointment, he was CN Chief of Police for Canada. He joined CN in February 2010 after 27 years with the RCMP where he had most recently held the rank of Superintendent. He served throughout Canada and overseas on various investigative and supervisory assignments. After retiring from the RCMP, he led North American anti-piracy operations in Canada for the film industry.
