Canadian Tire Corp. Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Don't have one, at least not told of one

RRSP, Pharmacy needs, Eyewear coverage, Dental

Vacation time is accrued quickly based in tenure

above average pay with benifits

profit sharing and staff discount

It is better than I have received elsewhere

Allowed to work from home

Stock purchase plan provides good value

Profit sharing would be the best

Benefit package is sufficient, I'm just happy to have one

The fact that i have one.

Profit Sharing and stock options

discounts in stores and pension plans

18% discount on Canadian tire products

The investment option where Canadian Tire will latch your contributions. I forget the name of it right now.

It is based on company performance

Up to 90% dental coverage (orthodontics excluded).

Great benefits package, profit sharing if you’re a full time CTC employee and great bonuses if you’re eligible. Employee discount leave a lot to be desired if you’re part of one of the different SBU’s

retirement savings

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If they would pay me more money

A better medical/dental plan with much better coverage and better wages

Given more quality direct teaching methods to improve quality of store and more income

No pay raise for five consecutive years.

they dont care about employees as people they just want bodies on the floor. they take away breaks because they weren't organized to schedule people to cover them. they also expect cashiers to basically be security guards and if thats what they expect they should pay the same.

We work our heads off and our salaries are reduced at any time with no consultation. Benefits do not cover much.

They give you so much to do with very low paycheck stub & no benefits for part time employees except paid vacation.

Cause they give you so much things to do for not paying you enough or respecting you.

Anything for my family is my whole attitude the more I can do so the less they have to worry about

everything is awesome and amazing

On the same team, same job title some make 50% more than others. On the same team, non management level, different job titles, some more than double the salary of others. Also, raises are typically less than inflation, hovering between 1-2%.
