Friendly and helpful employees, kind
They keep us informed of current changes & keep everyone motivated to be the best you can be

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Making decisions based on data and facts, listening to feedback
They need to care about the people who are working for them working hard for them
working together, comunication, acting like adults, not using their power of employees.
Communication and empathy. Coordinating between themselfs

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Don't have one, at least not told of one
RRSP, Pharmacy needs, Eyewear coverage, Dental
Vacation time is accrued quickly based in tenure
above average pay with benifits
profit sharing and staff discount
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If they would pay me more money
A better medical/dental plan with much better coverage and better wages
Given more quality direct teaching methods to improve quality of store and more income
No pay raise for five consecutive years.
they dont care about employees as people they just want bodies on the floor. they take away breaks because they weren't organized to schedule people to cover them. they also expect cashiers to basically be security guards and if thats what they expect they should pay the same.

Friendly, helpful, kind and thoughtful
They are open to great conversations and always willing to help

I really love most of the people that I work with and I look forward to seeing them and working with them
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Training, tact and sensitivity training
More regular meetings to improve knowledge of organizational techniques
Less undermining of other staff.
many coworkers have a superiority complex and act like their managers and tell everyone what to do. many are rude and give attitude.
Stop gossiping, bullying & harassment.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
When I reach out for help someone is always there to lend a hand
Enjoy interaction with the customer
We have wonderful customers a lot of regular customers and most of the people are fantastic and 98% of the people I work with are terrific
At times, it is fun to work.
People actually seem to care about one another.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Listening to employee feedback and implementing change, holding leaders accountable for their results
The management aswell as employees.
better training, and more push on creating a mentally safe work environment.
Recognize that fast and cheap labor is dangerous
It needs to be a healthy place to work at & not an abusive from the owners & manager towards their employees.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It moved quickly and a decisions were made right away
Panel interviews, very relaxed atmosphere
They hire you on the spot with rarely any background checks or interviewing of references
It was comfortable and relaxed
I was not judged negatively based on my previous place of employment.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
actually check references. they hire right out of the interview and dont bother to interview numerous candidates and pick the strongest ones.
They started being nice & became nasty as soon as you get the job... Unbelievable.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people I work with and the stability of the Company
Direct peers and team members
Talking to customer and helping them to find what they need to complete the project they are doing
Being able to help a customer find what they came in for and have them happy with the price therapy
Getting the job done on time
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Better product offerings- better onlines experience
Stores shouldn't be handed over to people because they were born with a silver spoon.
inconsistent service, unorganization leads customers waiting for a long time causing them to get frustrated
Most employees hide at the washroom or at the warehouse cause they don't want to deal with rude customers.
Most of them are lazy & always hide at the washroom or at the warehouse plus a lot of gossiping in that place so it's not healthy at all to work there.
