Mr. Ali also held positions in sales, marketing, engineering and finance. Before joining IBM, he was an Executive at software startup Neural Applications Corporation and an engineer at Adobe Systems. He serves as the Chairman of the Board at Mass Technology Leadership Council, Inc. He has been a Director of iRobot Corporation since August 2015. He has been Director at Carbonite, Inc. since January 8, 2015. He has been a Director of City National Bank since June 25, 2013 and City National Corporation since September 1, 2013. He served as a Director of Ember Corporation since October 13, 2009. He serves on the Leadership Council of Oxfam America and on the board of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.
