Joseph I. DePinto — President of Cardinal Health Specialty Solutions at Cardinal Health

Mr. Joseph I. DePinto, also known as Joe, has been a Director-At-Large at Healthcare Businesswomen's Association since January 2017. Mr. DePinto serves as President of Cardinal Health Specialty Solutions at Cardinal Health, Inc. Mr. DePintoserved as the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of Sunesis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since February 2014. Mr. DePinto served as an Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at Dendreon Corp., from February 28, 2012 to February 2014 and was responsible for all sales, marketing and market access teams in the U.S. and globally. Mr. DePinto's experience includes sales, marketing, strategic accounts, market access and product development on the R&D side. He has spent two decades commercializing and developing oncology products. Mr. Depinto served as a Vice President of Commercial Operations at ImClone Systems LLC (Alternative Name: Imclone Systems Corporation), a wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company since July 14, 2008. Mr. DePinto was responsible for ImClone's Commercial Operations department. Mr. DePinto served as a Vice President of Product Champion for ImClone Systems and also served as Vice President of U.S. Sales and Marketing at Abraxis Bioscience. Prior to ImClone, Mr. DePinto served as Global Marketing Leader of Oncology Therapeutics at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Services Inc., since 2006. He was responsible for leading the development and execution of a worldwide commercial strategies, market analyses and forecasts. Previously, Mr. DePinto served for Ortho Biotech Products for 12 years where he took on Management positions of increasing responsibility in oncology sales and marketing and served as its Vice President, Oncology Sales. He has held field sales positions at Upjohn Pharmaceuticals from 1990 to 1994. Mr. DePinto holds a B.S. in Marketing and an M.B.A. in Pharmaceutical Chemical Studies from Farleigh Dickinson University.
