CareerBuilder Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Net Home Monthly Salary And Other Perk Component

good amount of PTO, decent pay, decent benefits

Review from Sales Dept

Volunteer Time Off Days Perk

The pay is on time

Review from Sales Dept

Great health insurance and generous PTO

We're paid in sales base + bonus commission monthly

Review from Sales Dept

Underpaid vs market. Recently benefits have been getting cut.

Pays below market rate and offers no equity. We are positioning ourselves as a software company but we don't pay as such

Review from Engineering Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Our compensation is low when compared to industry average.

Hitting targets and goal before the Year End and not getting your bonus,

Go back to where it was before they started destroying the benefit. We had awesome insurance, a good 401k match and the like... It's been taken away.

Pay for all the accounts I sell

Review from Sales Dept

no equity option. no future

Review from Sales Dept

Pay increases after hire are minimal. Management is stingy with merit, market and promotional increases, unless you're a relative or referral of the CEO and his C-Suite friends. Much harder to promote or earn a decent wage if you're female. We're all hoping new owners will change things.

Undervalued because I know I can go outside and get more money and the company is ok if you leave for more money. It's not even more money, it's being paid at market. Compensation - being paid equal or close to male counterpart for same job.

typically not market comparable

Significantly below average, I would like either more opportunity for growth or comparable salary to others in my field

Review from Engineering Dept

The company decided to change to only handing out raises / promotions on short notice in June, just before they were about to go out.
