Of course. Mine is. Most are in IT.
Yes. A great many. I work remotely.
How's the vacation policy at CB Richard Ellis?
Highly Compensated Employees have unlimited vacation. Those who make less probably have normal vacation, like 3 weeks or something.
Depending on your position/compensation level, there might not be a vacation policy. For HCI, there is unlimited vacation.
How's the work life balance at CB Richard Ellis?
There are busy times, but most of the time, the balance is good.
I suppose it differs for whom you work and to which project/team you’ve been assigned, but generally, the balance is pretty even keeled. I’ve never had an issue about being overloaded to the point that my family life suffered.
What's the work from home policy like at CB Richard Ellis?
It varies. I work in IT, and while the policy has swung 180 degrees in the past two years with onboarding of a new CTO, it is still allowed. I work remotely 100 percent of the time.
How would you compare interviewing at CB Richard Ellis to other places you've interviewed?
A bit more cognitive and strategic thinking than straight technical or application related. Which I appreciated because at the number of years of experience I’ve racked up, I don’t want any dumb questions on how to fix a record in the database.
What questions do they ask during the interview process at CB Richard Ellis?
The answer to this question is totally varied by the group as well as the level of interview (first/second/third).
What should I wear for an interview at CB Richard Ellis?
I suppose it would depend on which group with whom you would be interviewing. The dress is now totally casual (jeans) but I would think that they’d still expect potential candidates to look a bit better than they. For a man, I’d think a blazer button down and matching slacks or at least nice slacks. Good shoes. For a woman, a pantsuit or a nice dress.
What kind of people succeed at CB Richard Ellis?
People who don’t rock the boat or rock the norm.
How can I improve my chances of being hired at CB Richard Ellis?
Perform research about what’s hot in the industry and specifically about what’s going on at CBRE. Lots of M&As going on - try to find out how it might affect your role.

Fairly secure. There have been recent layoffs.
What's the office layout like at CB Richard Ellis?
Depends on the office. Offices are all over the world.

Your guess is good as mine
What unique perks and benefits does CB Richard Ellis provide?
The most unique perk goes to HCEs, or Highly Compensated Employees. If you make a certain amount, you become eligible for unlimited vacation. This is a difficult concept to grasp, as many people confuse it the ability to work fro home. You can do that, too - I have both. Unlimited vacation is just that- you can take as much as you want - but your work better be covered. That’s the only caveat.
