Executive Bio

Mr. Donald D. Trigg serves as the President of Cerner Health Ventures at Cerner Corporation and served as its Senior Vice President. Mr. Trigg served as Chief Revenue Officer of CodeRyte, Inc. Mr. Trigg served as Vice President and Managing Director of United Kingdom at Cerner Corp. Mr. Trigg oversaw day-to-day company operations for the United Kingdom, including Cerner's active participation in the ongoing efforts to modernize the National Health Service (NHS). Mr. Trigg served as a Member of Executive Cabinet of Cerner. He has a broad public policy background. Prior to moving to the London office, he had daily responsibilities for areas, including establishment of Cerner's government practice, sales, consulting and key growth initiatives as General Manager for the Kansas City, Mo., geography, corporate communications and all marketing operations worldwide. Mr. Trigg joined Cerner Corporation in fall 2002 and also served as its General Manager of United Kingdom. He worked for President George W. Bush as Director of Policy for the U.S. Commerce Department since January 2001, providing guidance on technology policy, international trade and macroeconomic matters. During the President's first term, he was involved in the push for passage of The Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 and also coordinated a national trade liberalization initiative that the Washington Post contended in a profile piece helped 'make free trade understandable to average Americans.' In addition, Mr. Trigg worked as Senior Adviser in Austin, Texas, for the 2000 Bush for President campaign and as a Member of the 2001 Bush-Cheney Transition team. In advance of his involvement with President Bush, he helped run a strategic communications firm in Washington, D.C., along with Michael McCurry. He also had an extended tenure on Capitol Hill, working in a variety of senior policy positions in the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives. He is active in several U.S.-based charitable organizations, including his work as a Member of the Board of Directors of Cerner's First Hand Foundation. Mr. Trigg graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and U.S. History.
