Fairly low rates compared to the industry (at least from my perception). Should be more regular reviews, inflation matches, and real bonuses. Bonusly is nice as a recognition system but it is not a bonus system.

I was not promoted when I think I should have, nor did I receive a reasonable raise. The reason was "because of budgetary reasons". I don't think this is a valid excuse when every in Town Hall meeting the higher-ups say everything's going great.

Merit was pretty bad this year. I think generally people are underpaid, and they stay for the culture. This means they need to be extremely careful about eroding the culture, which is difficult when there is a lot of investment in the company but not the people.

My most recent pay rise was a cut in both real terms (deflated by any measure of inflation you care to choose) and compared to the market. I was extremely disappointed, and the radio silence since then leads me to assume that this is part of a plan (as used by many companies) to exploit loyalty.
