Mary Chen — Chief Market Development Officer at ChenMed

Executive Bio

Mary Chen is the co-founder of ChenMed and also serves as the Chief Market Development Officer for the ChenMed family of companies.

Born and raised in Taiwan, Mary was taught to always respect and care for those who came before you. She and her husband, Dr. James Chen, instilled these same core values and beliefs in their sons, Christopher and Gordon, who now serve on the ChenMed executive team. Mary’s devotion and her commitment to serving seniors helps ChenMed care for the most fragile and underserved patients across nine U.S. markets.

Her leadership differentiates the ChenMed brand with its high patient satisfaction and net promoter scores in the low- to mid-90s at each of the company’s senior medical centers — a score unprecedented in the health care industry.
