Mr. Austin Miller has been Senior Vice President of Gaming Operations at Churchill Downs Incorporated since August 2013. Mr. Miller served as the President at Calder Race Course, Inc. He served as President of Calder Casino & Race Course in Miami Gardens, Florida (Calder) at Churchill Downs Inc. since April 2010. He served as President of Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots in New Orleans, Louisiana (Fair Grounds) at Churchill Downs Inc. from October 2008 to April 2010. Mr. Miller served as Senior Vice President of Louisiana Operations at Churchill Downs Inc. until April 2010. He served as Interim President of Fair Grounds at Churchill Downs Inc. since August 2008. He served as Vice President and General Manager of slots and OTB operations at Fair Grounds. In September 2008, he absorbed responsibility for the facility's racing operation. Mr. Miller joined CDI in May 2007 from Harrah's New Orleans, where he served as Vice President of gaming operations. He has also held management and senior executive positions with Grand Casinos, Harrah's and Caesars and worked in entertainment and professional sports through affiliations with Mid-America Festivals, Champps Entertainment and the Minnesota Strikers of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Mr. Miller holds Bachelor's Degree from the University of Minnesota.
