Mr. Benjamin C. Murr, also known as Ben has been the Chief Technology Officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated since 2012 and serves as its Senior Vice President. Mr. Murr served as Senior Vice President at Churchill Downs Inc. He served as the President of United Tote Company from June 2, 2010 to 2012. He served as Vice President of IT at Churchill Downs Inc. He joined Churchill Downs in March 2008 as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. As the Chief Information Officer, He was responsible for all of IT systems of Churchill Downs Incorporated. This includes providing services for the world's most legendary race track, Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY, along with Calder Race Course in Miami, FL, Fairgrounds Race Course in New Orleans, LA and Arlington Park Race Track in Arlington Heights, IL. Prior to Churchill Downs, he worked for General Electric for 12 years. He served as Chief Technology Officer of the Americas for GE Industrial, located in Louisville, KY, there he oversaw technical operations for the entire Industrial vertical. He attended Bellarmine University and graduated with a B.A. in Economics in 1997. He joined General Electric Appliance's IMLP program following graduation and had rotations in various areas of IT. Mr. Murr completed his MBA at Bellarmine University in 2003.
