Mr. James E. Gay, also known as Ted, has been Senior Vice President of Churchill Downs Incorporated since January 2009 and has been its President of Churchill Downs Interactive since October 08, 2012. Mr. Gay served as Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of Churchill Downs Inc. from March 2012 to October 2012 and its Senior Vice President of Business Development from January 2009 to March 2012. Mr. Gay joined Churchill Downs Incorporated as a Director of business development in March 2003. He was promoted to vice president in June 2006. Mr. Gay joined CDI in 2003 and has been instrumental in crafting new strategy, the formation of TrackNet Media and the acquisitions of AmericaTab and Bloodstock Research Information Services. He has Bachelor's Degree in Economics from University of Virginia.
