Mr. Mudd served as the Principal Accounting Officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated until October 12, 2015 and oversaw its financial reporting, strategic planning, compliance, business planning, capital management, risk management and investor relations efforts. Mr. Mudd served as an Executive Vice President of Churchill Downs Incorporated since October 2007 until August 2014. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Churchill Downs Inc. since October 2007 until October 12, 2015. He worked for 15 years with General Electric Company (GE), where he served as Global Commercial Chief Financial Officer of GE Water & Process Technologies since 2006 and held positions of increased responsibility. He started his career with GE in 1992 with a part-time position in purchasing at GE's Appliance Park in Louisville, Ky. He joined GE on a full-time basis in 1993. He served as Captain in the United States Army Reserves with 14 years of service. From 2004 to 2006, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Supply Chain, IT and Technology Finance for GE's Consumer and Industrial Europe, Middle East & Africa Division in Budapest, Hungary. He served as Finance Manager of Global Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Development for GE Fanuc. In 2000, he served as Commercial Finance Manager of Retail for GE Appliances in Louisville. Mr. Mudd served as a Financial and Operations Analyst for GE Appliances in Louisville. He holds a Bachelor Of Science degree in Mathematics and Actuarial Science from Bellarmine University. Mr. Mudd also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Webster University.
