Wesley R. Wasson — - at Citrix

Mr. Wesley R. Wasson, also known as Wes, served as Senior Vice President of Strategy at Citrix Systems, Inc., since October 1, 2012. Mr. Wasson served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Citrix Systems from October 2007 to October 1, 2012. Mr. Wasson served as the Chief Strategy Officer of Netcontinuum, Inc. and also served as Vice President of Marketing. He is a seasoned industry Veteran, who has extensive experience in the security, networking and web services infrastructure markets. He served as Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Citrix Systems Inc. from September 2006 to October 2007 and also served as its Corporate Vice President of Product Marketing and Product Strategy. He served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Citrix Application Networking, LLC. He served as Vice President of Product Marketing for iPlanet at Sun Microsystems. At Sun Microsystems, he served as Vice President of the Java Enterprise System line for business where he helped Sun achieve number one market share positions across several industry segments from 1999 to 2002. Prior to Sun, he had several high profile successes in the network security and management space. Mr. Wasson joined the executive management team and oversees all product and technical marketing, corporate marketing, corporate communications, field marketing and channel marketing groups. After leading worldwide sales and marketing efforts for encryption startup ASD Software, he spent four years at Network Associates, ultimately serving as Vice President of Product Marketing for enterprise products. He served as Independent Director of Marketo, Inc. from September 2009 to August 16, 2016. Mr. Wasson obtained BS in Business Administration from Biola University where he received the President's Scholar as top overall graduate. He earned an Master Degree from the University of Phoenix, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors.
