Leadership team does their very best to be transparent about decision-making; this is useful but it's also in service of a commitment to ethical and mindful behavior that I've found to be rare in other organizations.

Hiring isn't just about skills, it's also about communication and personality. The company does a good job of selecting people that are a delight to work with. In general, the company culture is polite and thoughtful.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
This company has more of a sense of mission than some nonprofits I've worked at. Everyone here wants their work to be personally rewarding but also to make the world a better place. The resulting sense of camaraderie helps us all enjoy even the duller aspects of the workday.
