What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team embodies our Aspirations and Ingredients. There is a very authentic and collaborative energy about Clif Bar and that is largely in part due to our leadership team.
Our executive team deeply cares about our people, our culture & supporting our 5 Aspirations - People, Planet, Community, Business & Brands.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Holding people accountable for underperforming.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Benefits are the best available akd super cheap
flexible work schedules (9/80 program), paid workout time (and a gym conveniently located in our office- with trainers!), and all around the benefits aimed at sustainability efforts and giving employees an amazing work-life balance.
Clif has some of the best benefits of any CPG company and even compare to some of the fancy Bay Area tech benefits, especially PTO & ESOP!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Under compensate (salary and bonus) compared to other CPG companies
What are some of the best things about your team?
I have the best team in the world. :) They care about me personally, and I feel like we have really connected both at work and outside of work. We are very collaborative and dynamic, and there is lots of energy!
Clif Bar people are passionate, committed and truly care about each other and working for a different kind of company.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our company deeply cares about our Aspirations: Sustaining our Planet, Brand, Business, Community, People. We are truly striving to make this world a better place and help reduce our footprint and show other major CPG players that you can be a profitable company while having a positive output.
To work for a company that I love and believe in and to do work that is truly fulfilling is the dream job. Lucky me!

dog friendly office! But really, just the office space itself- it is very open and beautiful and there is always a lot going on.
