What part of Clorox Company 's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Our foods, personal healthcare, and professional products are doing fantastic. Food is surprisingly growing as many other food manufacturers are struggling. Bleach is having difficulties as consumers change their cleaning habits and environmental awareness and are using bleach less.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Clorox Company ?
Continue to develop avenues to work remotely or telecommute. The biggest complaint I hear is the commute as traffic in the bay Area continues to worsen. There can be more cross-function communication as right now it can feel like departments or brands operate in silos.
What do people at Clorox Company think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
Clorox loves their CEO! He is very engaged, he is has a lot of history and experience with Clorox, so people trust him and he trusts us. I don't know what he can improve, I don't have enough experience in a CEO's eyes to know.

They do a great job accommodating personal needs and protecting work life balance. This can vary based on the manager. Each manager I have experienced has had a different level support on this topic.

Everyone is great to work with! They want to succeed and they want you to succeed. The culture is all about collaboration and empowering team members to make decisions, so everyone feels their input is valued. Leadership has worked hard to move the office vibe and environment closer to the Google or Facebook feel, but it is only about halfway there, a nice blend of the traditional and progressive office environment. I enjoy working in their office because I feel it is setup for me to operate at my peak through collaboration and encouragement from my peers. To keep it balanced, one con is it often feels like we are under-staffed, never seem to have enough time to accomplish everything and hard choices often have to be made. The other edge of the collaboration push is there are often too many meetings that can disrupt productivity and don't bring as much value. All in all, though, a great vibe!
