  • You can save articles in the CNBC iOS app by tapping on the small ribbon icon on the bottom right of the article.

    You can then access your saved articles by scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the home screen to the Saved section, as shown below.

    By default, Saved is the last section before Special Reports, but please note that you can reorder your news sections by going to Settings (gear icon)->Edit News Sections. For example, to move the Saved section, you canhold down on the three-line icon on the right and drag it to your desired location.

  • You can edit your Watchlists by tappingEDITon the top left corner of your Watchlist.From the Edit view, you can add symbols by searching for them, or remove symbols by tapping the red symbol on the left, or reorder them by tapping and dragging on the three lines to the right. To delete or rename the Watchlist, you can use the buttons at the bottom of the page.

    Tap Doneon top right when you are finished editing your Watchlist.

  • Picture-in-picture is available for CNBC livestream and full episodes on iOS 5.0 or above for iPad.

    To activate picture-in-picture, you can click on the video and look for the small picture-in-picture icon on the corner of the screen (bottom right when in landscape; top left when in portrait mode).

    Tap on the icon and the video will pop out into a separate small screen, and you can browse other pages on the app. The video screen size can also be adjusted with pinch-to-zoom.

  • You can select (or deselect) the various sections from the main News tab of the app by going toSettings>Edit News Sections. Be sure to scroll all the way down to see all available sections (including those that are not selected by default).

    You can also change the order that the sections appear by pressing on the three lines to the right of the section you want to move (see screenshot below) and dragging it to your preferred location.

    For annual subscriptions, CNBC will place a temporary 48-hour hold on the credit card upon sign up. After 48 hours, the hold will be removed and no charge will be on the card until the end of the 30-day trial. Please note that while 48-hour holds are typical, some holds may last up to 8 days,depending on the issuing bank.

    For monthly subscriptions, your credit card will be charged immediately upon completion of purchase.

    Please keep in mind that all PRO accounts renew automatically. In order to disable auto renewal, you can navigate to the Account section under CNBC PRO and switch the "Auto-Renew" toggle button to OFF.

  • By default, the iOS app is set to autoplay certain videos (featured article videos and Livestream preview in CNBC TV tab) on mute when there is Wi-Fi connection available.

    You can make changes to this setting by going to Settings --> Autoplay Video. You can choose "Always" or "Never" and then tap "Done" to save your changes.

  • CNBC.com will default the data on the chart you are viewing to the time zone you are viewing from. So if you are viewing a quote page from California, your chart will show data in Pacific Standard Time. Likewise, if you are viewing a quote page from New York, you will see Eastern Standard Time.To change the time zone you are viewing from, select "Display" above the chart on the quote page you are viewing. From the dropdown, scroll to down to TIMEZONE. Select "Change Timezone" and choose the timezone you want. Your chart will update automatically.

  • To remove an old credit card from your PRO account, you must first add a new credit card and update your payment renewal method. Please follow the steps below:

    Navigate to CNBC.com and log into your account by going to SIGN IN in the upper right area of the screen.

    Wait for page to fully refresh and then click ACCOUNT in the upper right area of the screen.

    Under the PROFILE heading, click PRO on the left side of the screen.

    Click CARDS and then click the Add card button on the right. Enter your new card information and be sure to click Save changes.

    Click SUBSCRIPTIONS and then click Manage and select Update payment renewal method.

    Select the new card information and be sure to click Save changes.

    To delete your old card, click CARDS again and then click Manage to the right of the old card information.

    Click Remove and then click Yes to confirm the deletion of the old card.

  • To delete your CNBC.com account, please login and click Account in the upper right area of any CNBC.com page. At the bottom of the page, you will find the "Delete My Account" hyperlink. You can click and confirm "Yes, Delete My Account" to permanently remove your account from CNBC.com.

    Please note that any Watchlists or custom stock screens associated with the account will also be removed, and this action cannot be reversed.

    Pro account holders will need to cancel their subscription before being able to delete their CNBC.com account with the steps outlined above. For instructions on how to cancel your Pro subscription, please refer to this article.
